Chevrolet has officially launched its new Colorado pickup truck model, stressing luxury features and styling to set it apart from the competition. The 2008 Colorado is available in S-Cab, X-Cab and C-Cab packages with a total of 28 models. Each package either a 2.5-litre or 3.0-litre engine, two- or four-wheel drive, and automatic or four-speed manual transmission. Pricing will remain the same as for existing models until the end of December.
In another development, Mazda Sales (Thailand) Co plans a major campaign at all 87 showrooms, with special offers on Mazda 3 sedans, BT-50 pickup trucks and MX-5 sport roadsters from Nov 9-30.
Buyers will be offered an instalment payment grace period until after Songkran, together with free petrol vouchers up to 10,000 baht, three years of maintenance and first-class insurance, as well as other give-away offers.
In addition, the campaign will offer a minimum 5% down payment and low interest rates starting from 1.99% and repayment periods of up to 60 months.
Mazda recorded record sales of 12,330 units _ 9,688 of which were BT-50 pickups, 2,614 Mazda 3 cars and 29 premium models _ during the past 10 months, and wanted to continue the growth momentum by stimulating sales, said managing director John Ray.
