Go there, buy one, ship it back, might show our car makers something. Wages might not have to be so high if cost of living was not so high.

This is absolutely the ugliest car in the world. No wonder it’s the cheapest in the world because it’s looks and features matches it’s price.

I wouldn’t be caught dead in this piece of metal crap. It looks like something your four year old kid would get for Christmas.

Think that car is very good looking for 2500 USD, cheaper than most bikes. Love cars under 1000 CC because of enviromental convictions, but we must also think that selling 2500 USD cars allowing many poor people to have their first car which would replace the bike, will lead to a massive congestion in crowded cities like Mumbay for example.

Alezn, I’m all for protecting the environment when it means putting cardboard in a different bin or insulating you’re roof. But the environmental cost that this car will cause is dwarfed by the huge number (literally thousands) of lives that it will save by allowing poorer people in the developing world switch to a four wheeler.
I think that if tata actually deliver this in large enough numbers to make a real difference then it’s the best thing thats happened motoring since the model T!

(This may also be something to do with the fact that I’m a broke 16 year old and this may finally be a car that I can AFFORD!)

wonder how it performs in crash tests?! I just got back from Mumbai – heaven knows they don’t need any more cars on the road in this city of 19 million.
